Brandfish was formed by three specialists with extensive experience across a wide range of medical communications disciplines including medical education, marketing and academia.

Having built up almost 30 years’ experience in scientific research and medical and scientific communications, she has worked to develop strategic thinking based on scientific rigour, as well as tactical materials to drive awareness of scientific concepts, diseases and drug mechanisms. Her expertise ensures that highly complex scientific concepts can be deciphered in a way that is engaging, accurate and credible for use across the spectrum of communications from stakeholder engagement, publications and PR.
Julie has over 25 years’ experience working for healthcare agencies and on the client side. Her combined backgrounds enable her to handle both the strategic and tactical aspects of medical education programmes. She excels at making the best use of key opinion leader and professional group relationships with the ability to simplify complex data into clear messages.
Julie’s experience encompasses corporate as well as brand PR programmes and she has extensive experience of developing scientific training materials and managing European meetings programmes, including advisory boards, stand-alone meetings and symposia across a variety of therapeutic areas.
Jen brings with her over 20 years’ experience in healthcare communications – UK and international, in-house and agency. She has worked in various therapy areas and her expertise includes programme development and management of national and international conferences, symposia, advisory boards and stand-alone events; professional relations programmes; development and production of teaching aids.
